I just got my CRCR certification, what now?

Hi Everyone,

I am Samer Shaker, I moved from banking over to healthcare and it was the best decision! Combining what I know about banking practices, compliance, and regulations was able to finally overcome the CRCR exam today 10/08/2020 woohoo. I was wondering what is the next step in finding a job in that field and were is this accepted?

How can I let me employer know that I have gained this knowledge and ready to contribute back to my employer?

Thanks,

Samer Shaker

  • Good afternoon! Congratulations on earning your CRCR Certification - this a great accomplishment. The HFMA CRCR credential is nationally recognized.

By now you should have received your CRCR digital badge. Your new HFMA CRCR credential and CRCR digital badge validates:

    1. that you have the education needed to succeed in your field, and
    2. shows your manager you are committed to staying up to date in your profession and positioning yourself for advancement, and
    3. shows leaders in the field, seeking to meet their organizational goals, what your skills are.

You may let your employer know you have gained this knowledge by sharing and displaying your badge for verification.  The badge contains metadata describing your qualification and credential, including how you earned this achievement. You may display the badge as a symbol of achievement in email signatures, electronic resumes and social media profiles and be recognized for attaining this new level of proficiency.
