Tips for accessing your HFMA eLearning content

In late January HFMA transitioned to a new Learning Management System (LMS) – eLearning platform. For optimal viewing, and access to your eLearning dashboard, our new LMS provider recommends using the latest version of either Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Some additional recommendations are outlined below.

Access your online learning dashboard - Navigating to your online learning courses has not changed. Simply log in at hfma.org, click “My eLearning” at the top of the page and then “My Dashboard” at the top right of the page to access your content.

HFMA recommends the following steps when accessing your HFMA eLearning dashboard and taking assessments. This information is presented in the course instructions, as well as assessment start message.

  1. Do not access your eLearning when connected to your organizations network (VPN). Accessing your eLearning account/taking assessments via VPN may cause interruption and you may get you kicked out of your session/assessment.
  2. Use the latest version of Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Do not use Edge or IE.
  3. Clear cookies and cache and enable cookies for the learn.hfma.org website.
  4. Take assessments on a computer with a wired connection if possible. If your wifi is not strong, you may experience delays between questions or get kicked out of your session.
