BOH vs BOH for CME 2021

Hi - can someone confirm if there is a difference between these courses? Does it matter which one you complete?

  • Hello Ofelia, thank you for your interest in the HFMA Business of Health Care® program. The study material's for this program are the same for both versions. See below for more details.

    BOH for CME: The HFMA Business of Health Care® program offers 13.5 CME is a jointly provided program offered by HFMA and PIM - Postgraduate Institute for Medicine. This program offers ONLY the study materials in the HFMA eLearning dashboard. The BoH assessment (CME post-test) is taken via PIM’s CME University. This activity has been designed to meet the CME educational needs of physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, dentists, and other healthcare providers.

    BOH: The HFMA Business of Health Care® program includes study materials and assessment in the HFMA eLearning dashboard offering 14 CPEs. Recommended for those in the healthcare industry with at least one year of experience in healthcare, as well as familiarity with general accounting and financial concepts.
