CHFP Virtual Training Sessions Starting August 9th!

All,

I wanted to share information about the Tennessee chapter's upcoming virtual CHFP training sessions every Tuesday for 7 weeks starting August 9th from 12pm CT to 1pm CT.

We will be offering 6 NASBA approved CPE credits. Its great for those looking to get certified for the first time or recertify. Our content is also based on the current online training program for the most up to date content!

Joining our sessions, in addition to extra CPE, offers the chance to ask questions and have a support group of others who are working towards the exam as well.

All sessions will be led by CHFP / FHFMA certified individuals.

The first 6 sessions are content with quiz questions sprinkled in to apply what you have learned. The 7th session will be a mock exam to identify areas of further study with time for questions.

  • If you already have the CHFP will you still earn CPE credits for joining the seminar?  Also, I was wondering about the 2022 SE Summit credits for attending the seminar in Nashville and when those would be credited.  I have wanted to get involved in local HFMA TN chapter events but don't seem to get any replies with the few emails I've sent.  I am a proud member of HFMA and have only one more exam to take (failed the CSPPM recently) to have all six that HFMA offers Slight smile

  • Brian - apologies for the delay. Yes, if you already have the CHFP you will earn credits that can go towards maintenance / recertification. I will check on the SES CPE. I'm sorry you've had issues connecting with the chapter! Please reach out to Adam Blackwell <adamblackwell@govdataservices.com>, our membership chair. Registration is open for our fall conference in Chattanooga here: web.cvent.com/.../summary.

  • Thank you Kate.  I will reach out to Adam.  I will not be able to attend the fall conference in Chattanooga unfortunately.  I am starting a new position at Regent Surgical Health so the timing would be off, however I will be a HFMA lifer and know I'll be able to attend future conferences.

If you know of any volunteer opportunities with the TN HFMA chapter pass them my way.
