Transitioning into Healthcare and Best HFMA Certification/Programs

Hello, Community!

I'm interested in HFMA certifications in finance/accounting and would love to know your experience getting those certifications. In short, I have a long career in public finance and am looking to transition my skills and experience in healthcare. Did the certifications help significantly in your career and which certification programs did you enroll in? Also, if there are others who have transitioned into healthcare, I'd love to know your experience and hear your advice.

    Hi there.  I am also looking to transition into healthcare.  I worked at Deloitte in auditing after college while earning my CPA license and now have been managing the operations and accounting of a collection agency for 17 years.  Could you share how your experience has been in the transition?  I recently found HFMA and am considering getting some certifications to improve my candidacy for positions in revenue cycle and/or healthcare management jobs.
