I passed CRCR Test but scored low on behavioral Ethics can I re-take test?

I passed CRCR TEST but I was confused on 1 question on (Behavioral Ethics), I knew the answers but clicked to fast, now am worried because I don't want my employer to think that I don't have knowledge regarding HIPPA,

Question : can I re-take the test even though I passed just to get a better score on behavioral Ethics part?

Please Advised ,

Thanks

  • To my knowledge, the actual score is not reported to anyone outside of the person taking the test.  I have been certified since 2014 and do not know of anytime the actual score was reported to my employer.  Be interesting to hear what others say, usually it doesn't matter as long as you pass and get your certificate.

  • Soribel, It sounds like you’re being really hard on yourself, but let’s take a step back. You passed the CRCR test, which shows your knowledge and commitment. A single question answered too quickly doesn’t diminish that.

Your leadership will likely focus on your overall success, not one misstep. It’s clear you care deeply about HIPAA compliance, and that dedication speaks volumes. If you’re still feeling uneasy, you can always review the material and reinforce what you already know. But trust in your effort—you’ve already shown your competence.

Try to take a deep breath and celebrate the fact that you passed! That’s what truly matters.

  •  When I downloaded my Certificate of Competition, Field of Study displays then next to credits my score on Ethics is low compared to the other Specialized knowledge and Finance, I decided  2 years ago to go back to College  earned  my Associate degree in Healthcare Management  but  not having the Experience was hard to get a Promotion I was advised by my Healthcare Employer to get Certifications, is been a tough year and  I Am proud of myself and the knowledge I learned during this process , that's why I was worried if I send the Certificate to HR listing  a score or credit earned ?

  • Soribel,

The test is pass/no pass, meaning your score doesn't matter, nor will anyone beside yourself have access to your score. Congratulations on passing the test! You are now a certified professional in the industry. Don't be hard on yourself and if you wanna go back and take notes on that chapter, please do so. Continue to invest in yourself by being open to knowledge and self education. Congrats again!
