CRCR Certification

Hello Everyone,

I am a new HFMA member. I want to pursue CRCR certification. I went through all the options and found E-learning but not sure which course i need to do for CRCR certification because there are 42 courses available. Can some one help me what are the courses i need to take before attempting CRCR exam under e-learning section or i can directly go to CRCR under certification then access the study material to appear for the exam.

  • Hi Jeyakrishnan, you should be able to see that under My Account > My ELearning > Main Catalog > Certifications and select the CRCR certification that is one certification. Does this help?

  • Hi JK! You can also check with your regional HFMA chapter to see if they conduct a CRCR Bootcamp. Our region conducts these sessions virtually, and providing a comprehensive overview of the most important concepts within revenue cycle. It's generally about 2-3 hours long, but it gives you a chance to ask questions and interact with other participants.

  • Jeyakrishnan, to access once enrolled and complete the certification program, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to Your HFMA Account: Use your HFMA credentials to sign in.
    2. Navigate to My Development: From your Account profile, select "My Development" from the left side menu.
    3. Go to My eLearning: Click the blue “My eLearning” button to be directed to the HFMA Online Learning portal and your eLearning dashboard.
    4. Start the Program: Scroll down within your eLearning dashboard to locate the program and click “Start” to begin the certification process.
    5. Complete the Assessment to earn the certification, certificate and access the digital badge.

    Thanks Luca! i want to say sorry for no timely reply. Anyways i do know how to navigate to CRCR certification on HFMA but i wanted to confirm about the course which i need to complete under the "course" section before take the exam or any study material is available to prepare for the CRCR exam on HFMA.

    Thanks Shirley! My apologies for no timely reply because i usually do not go online on weekends also i had some technical issue yesterday to login HFMA. Anyways i wanted little detail about CRCR preparation before taking the exam such as available courses, study materials on HFMA portal.
