Certified Hospital Cost Report Specialist (CHCRS)

I just completed the CHCRS prerequisite courses. I’m really interested in obtaining this certification. I’m not very familiar with cost reporting so  I’m appreciative that HFMA has decided to offer this course. 

How long will it take before I will gain access to start my training? Will I be given immediate access or will it take up to two days before I can start training?

    Thank you for your question. HFMA's member services department sent you information by email, but we are also posting it here:

    • Once you complete the 2 prerequisite courses, you are then able to start accessing the CHCRS Training Course when you are ready.
    • Please visit our CHCRS details page and scroll down to the Step 2 section: https://www.hfma.org/certified-hospital-cost-report-specialist-chcrs/
    • Click either on our HFMA CHCRS Training Module or you may also visit Forvis Mazars to access their CHCRS Training.
