CRCR no experience

Hello, 

I recently received my CHAA last year. I am a risk analyst and have worked for very large fintec, and payment processing companies. I dont have any experience in healthcare, but I am wanting to transition into healthcare. Would the CRCR benefit me ? I am also currently in training to become a CPC.

    Yes, the CRCR would definitely be a great next step. It’s designed to give a strong understanding of how the healthcare revenue cycle works (from patient access through claims and reimbursement.) Since you already have experience in fintech and risk analysis, the financial concepts will feel familiar, and the CRCR will help you learn how they apply in a healthcare setting.

    Pairing it with your CPC training makes a lot of sense, too. Together they’ll show employers you understand both the clinical coding and financial sides of healthcare operations. If you’re exploring a transition into healthcare, the CRCR can help you speak the same language as revenue cycle and finance leaders.
