CRCR Recertification

Hello!

I am currently CRCR certified and my certification will need renewing before May 27,2026 (it says extended to June 30, 2026), however I have not received anything 

from HFMA about my recertification, nor do I see anything about recertification under my accounts. I reached out to someone last week and explained I have not seen 

an email, nor have I been able to pull anything up. The representative told me I should have gotten an email with instructions in it 4-5 months prior to my certification expiring. 

The only thing I can see is the whole course to retake with 70/75 questions to answer...I thought the recert was just a simple 50 question test, no need to redo the whole course?

Can someone please help me and let me know where I need to go or how do I find the  CRCR recertification so I can get a start

on it?

  • Not sure about the advance notice issue, but I may be able to help you find the recertification course, as I have been looking around in the new HFMA Learning Center. With the recent update to the Learning Center, the links to courses and recertifications changed. If you go to the HFMA main page, there will be a banner at the top for the new LC. From there, select Catalog at the top, and then select Certifications in the Content Type section and click Search. You can then select the CRCR Recertification link on the Certifications page. If this continues to give you trouble, I would suggest reaching out to inquiry@hfma.org for assistance specific to your case.
