There is an option on the bottom of every email notification to mute an individual discussion thread:
You can also go to any discussion thread in a group and select to mute a specific thread:
If you would like to turn all Discussion forum notifications off, Go to any group discussions homepage and select the "turn Forum notifications off" button on the right side menu:
Please also go to Settings/Subscriptions and select Unsubscribe for each application that you opt to unsubscribe to:
