  • Hello, HFMA Certifications Community!  My industry education has mostly been through HFMA, and it has been right on the money, so to speak.  My inspiration to get certified came from my local Oregon Chapter, which set up a very supportive structure with study sessions and mentors and testing sessions.   Becoming a Fellow after I had been awarded my CHFP was an important honor and distinction for me.  It just feels good!    Also, it helps provide professional context to those who see my business card or signature line with FHFMA after my name.  I'm looking forward to hearing what others have gained from their certification experience and what inspired them.
