New Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (CSPPM) Resource Available
HFMA recently added a candidate Key Concepts Guide to the CSPPM certification program resources. The guide is intended for those who wish to make focused notes and capture important concepts while working with the online study materials. Taking the time to use and/or customize the guide can help certification candidates to develop a handy review tool. The concept guide identifies important ideas and is a supplement to the online study program. It is not a replacement for the online materials nor a summary of the online course. It is intended to help summarize your personal learning.
How to access the guide? Enroll in the CSPPM program, select "Start Certification" from your eLearning dashboard and download the guide from the "Getting Started" section.
HFMA’s Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (CSPPM) certification program is an online, self-directed, interactive program that provides a focus on revenue cycle activities that enhance contemporary physician practice management. The online program discusses the full range of topics and techniques that are central to the effective management of physician practices. Those who earn this certification will also gain specialist-level knowledge related to budget preparation, financial projections, cost accounting, managing information systems, and evaluating and negotiating payer contracts. Enrollment in this program is included as a member benefit.
