HFMA Digital Badges
When you complete an HFMA certification or certificate program, you will earn a digital badge. Your badge will contain metadata describing your qualifications and credentials, including how you earned this achievement. HFMA partners with Credly to administer HFMA’s digital badges - Credly is an end-to-end credential and badge management system.
Until recently HFMA issued certification and course digital badges every 1 - 2 weeks. HFMA is now issuing the Credly digital badge invitations REAL-TIME! See below for more details and badging reminders:
- When will I receive my HFMA digital badge? You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account within an hour of successful completion of the program assessment (for applicable programs only).
- Where and how can I share my badge though Credly’s platform? You can share your badge directly from your Credly account to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website or in your email signature. Follow these directions to start sharing.
- How does my certification get displayed as a badge? HFMA has partnered with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a badge, issued and managed through the company’s Acclaim Platform. The technology Credly uses on its platform is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share and verify your competencies digitally.
- How do I attach my badge to my email signature? Use these step-by-step instructions to insert your badge into an email signature. Adding a hyperlinked badge image to your email signature is a great way to make sure your professional network is aware of your certifications, credentials and other badge-worthy recognition.
