Using the @ symbol, you can create a link from a username inside a post, comment or reply. The mention will alert users that they've been added to your content.
How to @mention a user
- In a new article post, article post comment, or discussion thread/reply, type the username, starting with @, in the post window. A drop-down list of possible matches appears.
- Select the correct choice from the drop-down list. After you make your selection, the username name has a blue box around it and the @ symbol is gone.
- Hit Enter, or click Share or Post as appropriate to the place where you're mentioning.
